STEP 1. WHAT’S YOUR LOAD When your load changes, so should your springs. Any heavy accessories or towing load added to your vehicle, changes the handling and overall safety when driving. The vehicle’s springs must be matched to the load for optimum ride height and body control. Ironman 4×4 offers a range of springs to match the additional loads whether they are constant or temporary. When you start kitting out your vehicle, take into consideration the kerb weight and how much load you are adding, this will change what level of strength you need. STEP 2. CHOOSE YOUR TERRAIN The terrain you travel most, determines what type of shock absorber is right for you! Forces generated by a loaded vehicle in rough terrain versus a lightly loaded vehicle in smooth terrain, differ greatly and can be considerably higher. Creating safe and appropriate dynamic handling at higher than original weights requires careful consideration. The range of Ironman 4×4 shock absorbers are designed to cover all terrains and possess the correct amount of damping resistance to provide a safe and comfortable ride.

FOAM CELL PRO SHOCK ABSORBERS – DEMANDING TERRAINWho’s up take it to the extreme? Ironman 4×4 Foam Cell Pro Shock Absorbers are built to handle anything, in all conditions.

• FOAM CELL TECHNOLOGY – Micro-Cellular closed cell foam insert maximises cooling efficiency by occupying less internal space than gas within a pressurised shock absorber. Greater oil capacity and more surface area maintains lower operating temperatures.
• 45mm TEFLON BANDED PISTON – Precision shim-stack piston specifically valved by Ironman suspension engineers, banded with teflon for smooth long life operation.
• 65-72mm TWIN TUBE BODY – 50%-100% more oil volume than a gas shock absorber for superior cooling and endurance. Twin tube construction protects internal components from rock damage.
• 20mm HARD CHROME PISTON ROD – Hardened and polished, volumetrically balanced to piston size.
• FLEXIBLE RUBBER BUSHES – Offers quieter operation and reduces damaging side loads from shock absorber.

PERFORMANCE VALVING – VERSATILE RIDE & MODERATELY ACCESSORISED The performance range adapts to a wide range of driving styles. Best suited to moderately loaded vehicles with some accessories, the shocks provide a balanced comfortable ride with more control.
